Roddy Campbell is a traditional Gaelic singer from the Isle of Barra, off the west coast of Scotland.

His singing style come directly from the Islands and from the people inhabiting them, especially his family which includes the well-known ‘source singers’, Calum and Annie Johnston.

Roddy also plays the Highland bagpipe, whistle and flute on the album.
