Gordon Gunn (fiddle, mandolin), Phil Anderson (guitar, bass, percussion, keyboards) and Billy Pearce (keyboards, accordion, percussion) first met when they played together in Ruby Rendall’s Band.

They also had experience in playing with various Scottish bands, and the trio appeared on the Grampian/STV programme Northern Nights in 2000.

Gordon is also a composer of tunes and writes some of the most beautiful slow airs around.

A most enjoyable album.
