Sangsters - Begin
Sangsters are Anne Combe (vocals), Fiona Forbes (vocals) and Scott Murray (vocals, guitar) on this album and had backing from Nick Keir (guitar, keyboards) and Ian McCalman (guitar, bodhran, backing vocals).
Sangsters hail from Fife and were formed in the summer of 1991. Their repertoire ranges from traditional ballads to contemporary songs.
Sangsters’ hallmark is sheer quality of singing and superb harmonies. All three have won traditional singing competitions. A great blend of voices, and Fiona adds humour to their song introductions on stage.
Both Fiona and Anne were part of the Far, Far From Ypres stage presentation.
