We regret to announce that Cath Mack (Greentrax Promotions) was made redundant recently and tasks will now be shared by Elaine, Pat and Ian. This step was not taken lightly and we were sorry to see Cath go but it is an indication of how the record industry, including Greentrax, is suffering from the decline in CD sales and the very slow increase in download retail sales. Hard times indeed but we look forward positively in 2015, our 29th year.
Alex Hodgson, who is currently touring in New Zealand, appeared on NZ TV last week giving the young female presenter instructions on how to dance the Gay Gordons. What the audience thought of it we don’t know!
The Great Tapestry of Scotland is currently on exhibition in Stirling Castle where The Music And Song Of The Great Tapestry Of Scotland is selling like hot cakes. This follows a second very successful exhibition at The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh and further excellent CD sales.
